Our five star hygiene rated cafe is open 10.00am to 5:00pm serving hot and cold drinks and ice creams to help you cool off! Our café has been awarded a food hygiene rating of five, which is the highest rating possible. Eat in or order your food as a takeaway to enjoy in the park!
Picnic benches are dotted around the park if you’d like to bring a picnic. We’re sorry but picnics from home aren’t allowed in the café (regardless of the weather) and there’s a no food policy in the play areas of the barn to help keep the area clean for little ones and avoid creating any choking hazards.
As a family with allergies and intolerances, we appreciate the challenges this can present when eating out and take it very seriously. If you have any allergies or intolerances, please let us know when you order your food so that we can first help you order, then clean down our equipment and prepare your food in a separate part of our kitchen.
We are a breastfeeding friendly venue, which means we support mothers in breastfeeding their children anywhere on the park (inside or outdoors). If you prefer privacy whilst feeding, please speak to our café staff and we will do what we can to help.
If you bottle feed your baby, we have a bottle warmer available. A microwave is also available to warm your baby’s milk or baby food. Please speak to our café staff.
A family toilet is available, which has a fold down baby changing table and plenty of space to accompany older children and those that are potty training (and get the pushchair in)! We sometimes have nappies available for emergency use, that have been donated to us when children have gone up in size – for those “aaaaughh…..I have no more nappies” moments we’ve all experienced!
As parents and grandparents ourselves, we understand how important cleanliness and safety is. The toys and play equipment in the barn are regularly cleaned and equipment throughout the park is checked daily. Since taking over the park in 2015 we’ve also removed dangerous water features in the play barn making more room for the little ones to safely play.
There is ramped access to most areas on the fun park and in the play barn. Whilst some of the paths are stoned, they are within lawned areas which offer an alternative surface. We will always do our best to offer rides on our train, but only if it is safe to do so. Whilst we want to give you the best day out, your safety is our priority.
We have a disabled toilet available, but unfortunately we don’t have a bed or hoist available for use. As always, if you speak to us during your visit, we will do whatever we can to help make sure you have a great day out!
